All physical campus retail locations are closed

Under the direction of the University and to do our part in helping to flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19, all retail locations at Laurier are closed until further notice. Please refer to this page for ongoing updates with regards to Retail Services operations.  

 

The book list for Spring/Summer term is live 

To get your custom book list, simply go to http://laurier.verbacompare.com/ and sign in with your MyLearningSpace login. You'll be able to view your required materials by course and see prices for new, used or rental copies. We'll also help you save money by comparing our prices with Amazon's in real time!

Please note, there is no option for in-person pickup, but our staff is still working hard to fulfill online orders!

 

Online Orders

Although our physical locations are closed, we are here and will continue to support your academic course material needs for Spring Term. Certain adjustments have been made to our services to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. At this time, our team will be focused on fulfilling course material needs and will not be fulfilling general merchandise orders. We will continue to hold your order in the queue and fulfill your order as soon as possible. 

Fulfilling Your Order

  • Continue to provide safe courier delivery by UPS
  • To ensure the safety of our teams, several precautionary measures have been put in place
  • These precautionary measures unfortunately may mean delays in order processing time
  • You may experience delays when navigating our website and placing your order, as we are seeing an increased volume of customer traffic
  • Our customer service staff are working remotely and can be reached by email at orders@wlubookstore.com

Returns

As all physical locations are closed, we are only facilitating online returns. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy page for more information. 

 We'd like to acknowledge the dedication of our team members at the Bookstore. Our team continues to demonstrate their commitment and support to the Laurier community.

Textbook Rentals

To make the return process easier during this time, we have extended the textbook return deadline to May 29, 2020 and we are waiving the $25 late-return fee outlined in your rental agreement. We have also created the following procedures to ensure the return process is safe and easy for you.  

Return via UPS

We are working with UPS to provide you with a pre-paid shipping label for you to return your textbooks free of charge. Return instructions will be sent to your mylaurier email account or the email account used when the rental was made. Please monitor your email account throughout the coming week.

The rental book must be returned in Laurier Bookstore standard condition, as outlined in your rental agreement. 

Rented materials not returned by the extended rental return deadline - May 29 - will be charged a buy-out fee for the difference between the rental price and the retail price of each item rented.

 Online Orders - General Merchandise

Following the school's guidelines, we will not fulfill general merchandise orders until further notice. Customers can still place orders for GM, which we will hold in our queue for fulfillment as soon as possible.  

Vitalsource helps with free access

Vitalsource, a leading eBook provider, is offering complimentary eBooks to ensure students have free access to digital learning materials through the remainder of Winter 2020 term. Students will be able to access up to seven eBooks from participating publishers at no cost from March 23rd to April 30th, 2020.
